Rosa Castro-Prieto participated in the 2nd International Congress Knowledge Nodes.
She presented a paper entitled “Beneficios de los corpus lingüísticos en la traducción de productos audiovisuales” (Benefits of linguistic corpora in the translation of audiovisual products) in which she discussed the resource that corpora represent for translators and, specifically, for those who work in the audiovisual field.
Rosa Castro-Prieto gave a talk entitled “Visibilidad de los traductores en las industrias culturales y creativas” (Visibility of translators in the Cultural and Creative Industries) as part of the 2019 Creative Industries Global Conference.
In this presentation, she addressed topics such as the need for the translator’s profession for the proper development of the Cultural and Creative Industries and the challenges of training audiovisual translators.
